President of Samut Prakan City FC "Khun Ae" Mr. Chonsawat Asavahame is joining forces with the public and private sectors in an effort to coordinate the opening of the Samutprakarn Ruamjai Hospital 5 (WHA) to help meet the local demand. Working in collaboration with the provincial administrative organization along with state and private hospitals, the Samutprakarn Ruamjai Hospital 5 (WHA) is being established to alleviate any shortage of hospital beds in the hometown.
Also known as Field Hospital 5, the facilities will encompass approximately 10,000 square meters to accommodate a minimum of 1,200 beds and provide emergency care for Covid-19 patients. The Samut Prakan Provincial Administrative Organization has lent its support in the form of necessary operating equipment and appliances ranging from computers and medical devices to 60 portable toilets along with 6 mobile toilet buses, mobile air conditioning units, desk fans and industrial fans, 3 portable air conditioners, 20 intercom locations for doctor-patient communication, and a CCTV system combining 58 AI-simulated cameras equipped with voice communication functions.
The Phase 1 objective is to bring in as many elderly patients and other patients waiting to be admitted as possible. There they will be treated by a team of doctors, nurses, and medical staff working on rotation from nearby hospitals, health care clinics, and provincial public health centers.
